Once a pioneer, always a pioneer
The patented rotogravure wallpapers allowing photographic quality for the time, imitation wood and marble, for example, which were introduced in 1963, represented a high point in P+S's production history. The company also took on a pioneering role in the market with the packaging of wallpaper for 'household use'. At the beginning of the 1980s, P+S began to take environmental requirements on board and installed a pilot air purification system. Setting up a modern screen printing wallpaper production facility finally smoothed the way towards rational production processes. P+S celebrated its 125 year anniversary in 2004. At that time, production included acrylic, paper and embossed wall coverings, wallpapers with a profiled structure and flat vinyl wallpapers.
